The use of galvanized steel wire rope

Release time:2021-08-11 14:27:39
Galvanized steel wire rope can be used in high-level construction, vehicle and ship bundling, towing, strapping and other fields, for shipping, offshore oil exploration, aircraft manipulation, marine fishing, trawling, fixed netting, and rolling nets.
The core of galvanized steel wire rope was usually made of sisal and jute before, but because these materials are very easy to absorb acid, alkali, sea water and other corrosive substances during work, the inner steel wire rusts and breaks in the early stage. It has been changed to use Polypropylene is used as the core of the rope.
The twisting of galvanized steel wire rope is the same as the general round strand steel wire rope, but according to the working conditions of the steel wire rope application, there are different requirements for the thickness of the zinc layer of the raw steel wire: the special number of diameter 0.2 to 5 mm and the number I galvanized steel wire rope For steel wire, the coating thickness can be divided into three groups: the zinc content of the thin coating group is 15~135g/m2, which is used for mild corrosion conditions; the zinc content of the medium coating group is 60~200g/m2, which is used for medium corrosion conditions; The amount of zinc on the zinc group is 75~260g/m2, which is used for severe corrosive conditions. In order to ensure the quality of the steel wire rope, the surface of the galvanized steel wire should be smooth, complete, uniform and firm. When the galvanized steel wire is spirally wound on a core rod with a diameter of five or ten times the diameter of the steel wire, the zinc layer should not fall off or crack. Corresponding inspection should also be done for the corrosion resistance of the galvanized layer.
