Abrasion and deformation inspection of elevator wire ropes. The deformation and wear of the elevator wire rope mainly refers to the deformation, internal wear and external wear of the steel wire surface, the steel wire and the steel wire, the steel strand and the steel strand during the lifting and landing process. Deformation and wear refer to the partial squeeze of the wire rope caused by the slow displacement of the wire rope and the traction sheave or the sudden vibration of the wire rope. The traditional inspection method for steel reinforcement wear is to "see" and "caliper measurement" to judge the change in the diameter of the steel wire rope. The wire rope has no broken wires and needs to be scrapped, so it can no longer be used.
Corrosion inspection of elevator wire ropes. Elevator wire ropes are prone to rust when they are in poor service conditions and lack of maintenance, which reduces the mechanical properties of the wire ropes, leading to brittle fractures. This kind of fracture is more dangerous than ordinary wear and broken wires, so we must pay more attention to the corrosion of the steel wire during the inspection process. If it is found that the corrosion is serious, the outer steel wire is loose or pits have been formed, then the steel wire rope needs to be replaced regardless of whether there is broken wire or the rope diameter value. The corrosion of elevator wire ropes, especially the internal corrosion, is hard to find by looking at it.
